Adventure comes in all shapes and sizes; this personality trait is not confined to travel. The idea is to determine how willing they are to try new things, and whether that compliments your own willingness. Don’t interrogate them, be kindly inquisitive and offer them a space to open up.
Here are a few questions to learn if the person sitting across from you is adventurous, and in what way.
- Where was the last place you traveled?
- Do you like to rough it?
- The strangest party you’ve ever been to?
- Most interesting place you’ve ever visited?
- What’s the biggest decision you’ve ever made?
Make sure to listen to their answer and dive deeper into their experience. Of course they want to know your answer to the question, but make sure you get to the bottom of their story first. This shows you’re attentive and care about learning about them.
